Roots Deeper than Whiteness: A Fundraiser for the Forthcoming Book

Thank you for your interest in making a contribution to this fundraiser. To read more about the fundraiser and book project, click here. If you're ready to donate, click the blue Donate button to fill out your donation form!

After submitting this form you will receive an email that includes information about all of the "thank you gifts" you are slated to receive based on your donation tier. The subject line of that email is set as, "Your tickets for: Roots Deeper than Whiteness: A Fundraiser for the Forthcoming Book," which you can search for in your promotions or spam inboxes if you have any trouble finding it.

Please Note:

• Contributions made to this crowdfunding campaign are not tax deductible.
• Book publication won't take place for a few years, given time required for research and writing and the reality that books typically take 9-12 months to hit shelves after manuscript completion.

• Donors pay an additional 3% to help cover credit card processing fees.
• Questions? Email david@davidbfdean.com.

Larger Donors able to give $1000+ can make these contributions through our 501(c)(3) partner, Restorative Justice for Oakland Youth. If you might be one of these donors, please fill out this form and I will reach out to you shortly. Your partnership is so important!
