CAMP RUNS 9 A.M. TO 4 P.M. TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

THERE IS NO CAMP MONDAY, JUNE 19 IN OBSERVANCE OF JUNETEENTH.

The Introductory/Intermediate camps are geared towards campers who have little or no experience with robotics, providing them with a more structured curriculum and more instruction in designing, building, and programming their robot. In this week-long camp, campers will work in pairs to build a basic "clawbot", they will then use ROBOT-C -- a block-based coding platform -- to code their robot. After building and coding their robot, at the end of the week they will compete in a friendly tournament with their fellow campers!

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION:
A limited number of scholarships are available based on need.

If you purchase a DYR RoboCamp registration with need-based scholarship, we'll email you to ask how you qualify. You may be asked to show that you receive, or qualify for, one or more of the following or other need-based financial assistance programs:

CalFresh SNAP
CalWorks
County General Assistance
Medi-Cal
PG&E CARE
Refugee Cash Assistance
Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Within 3 days after you register, we will send you an email with a link to a Google Form asking about your participation in the above programs. You will have 5 calendar days to respond to the email, after which we will notify you whether you qualify and have been selected for a need-based scholarship.

If you are selected, we will send you an email re-confirming your registration for the camp.
If you are not selected, you will have the option to purchase a regular-price registration; we will e-mail you with an invoice and you will have 5 calendar days to pay via PayPal or credit card. Please contact us immediately if you need to make alternative payment arrangements. If we do not receive payment by the date specified, your ticket will be relinquished.
