Our new series of live gigs at Dawkes are designed to let you enjoy leading UK musicians in a comfortable and enjoyable environment. We can't wait to introduce you to Emily and her trio who will deliver an evening of up-tempo and entertaining music based on their groove influences.

About: Emily Francis Trio

Described as a “thing of rare beauty” by Jazzwise, the Emily Francis Trio knows no bounds as they continue to wow audiences across the country. Featuring Emily on keys along with bass maestro Trevor Boxall and drum superstar Jamie “Drumcat” Murray, the band pride themselves on delivering a high energy show guaranteed to keep you on your toes. For their debut here at Dawkes, the trio are excited to be celebrating the release of their new live album “Atomic Tour Live” which will be available for purchase on the night. 

They will also be showcasing brand new material set to be recorded later this year. With a fascinating mix of influences including artists from the current US electro-jazz scene, such as Donny McCaslin, Kneebody and FORQ, prog supremos Pink Floyd, Genesis, and Peter Gabriel, and jazz icons Herbie Hancock, Brad Mehldau, and Avishai Cohen, the Trio have created an accessible, yet harmonically rich landscape of melody and groove. 

In addition, the band combines their collective experience from work with other projects and artists, including Tim Lefebvre, Robben Ford, Robert Fripp, Connor Selby, Jo Harman, Rumer and many others across the musical spectrum.

PLEASE NOTE: Each ticket holder will be allocated a seat, so please book groups under one booking so that you can be seated together.

All sales are non-refundable. If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honoured for the next event date. If you cannot attend the event, you may transfer your purchase to another person. If the event is cancelled, all purchases will be refunded in full.

Getting Here & Parking Info

We have 30 free parking spaces, including two spaces at the front of the building for Blue Badge holders and two electric charging points. Extra on-street parking is available after 6 pm and on Sundays.

Trains run regularly to Maidenhead from Reading and London Paddington. We are a five-minute taxi ride/twenty-minute walk from the station.
