- Ben Cox – vocals, flute, whistle, harmonium
- Tom Newell – fiddle
- Moss Freed – guitar
- With guest musicians Jordan Murray (percussion) and Tom Mason (double bass)
About the Band
Counter's Creek are currently touring their second album, My Treasured Land, released in 2025 on OOB Records (The Netherlands). Over the past five years they have performed widely across the UK, including appearances at Sidmouth Folk Festival and BAAFest.
Drawing on deep roots in both folk and jazz, the band members’ credits include performances alongside artists such as Pee Wee Ellis, Fred Wesley and Ruby Turner, as well as collaborations with pop acts including Muse, One Direction and Lana Del Rey.
Their sound is cinematic yet intimate, rooted in tradition but joyfully exploratory - music that feels as at home in a concert hall as it does in a packed folk session.
“My Treasured Land is Counter's Creek's most assured work to date: a thoughtful, beautifully crafted album…” - FATEA Magazine
“Inspiring virtuosity rooted in Celtic traditions…” - World Music Central
