The Wave Machine - Land Begins. Land Ends. UK Tour

Thu 8 Oct 2026 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM BST Dawkes Music, SL6 8BT

Our series of live gigs at Dawkes are stoked to welcome The Wave Machine as he cruises through Maidenhead on his Land Begins. Land Ends. A live looping journey inspired by surf, travel and life on the road.

This October, Angus Trott (The Wave Machine) embarks on a unique 10-day motorbike tour from John O'Groats to Land's End, carrying all of his musical equipment on the bike and performing shows across the UK before returning home to Cornwall. Along the journey, he'll document life as an independent touring musician through film, photography and storytelling, supported by a growing community of friends, fans and grassroots music supporters helping share the adventure as it unfolds.

What to Expect

Blending live looping guitar, bass, trumpet and percussion into surf inspired originals created entirely live on stage, Land Begins. Land Ends. captures the rhythm of the road, the energy of the ocean and the spirit of independent touring.

The Dawkes Music show will also raise funds for Brass for Africa, supporting music education and life-skills programmes for young people across sub-Saharan Africa.

About the Artist

The Wave Machine is the ocean-inspired live looping project of Cornwall-based multi-instrumentalist Angus Trott, blending guitar, bass, trumpet, percussion and vocals into laid-back, surfed-out sounds full of sun-soaked grooves and uplifting vibes. Recognised within surf communities worldwide, his music has been featured on popular surf playlists and radio shows. Angus has performed internationally, including a debut tour along Australia's east coast. His energetic performances have taken him to festivals and venues across the UK and beyond. His lively performances have captivated audiences, and he is quickly building a name for himself in the UK's growing surf-music scene.
