Pete Josef

We are delighted to welcome back the incredible Pete Josef to the Dawkes stage for a special solo show. He brings together for the first time the three key threads that have shaped his creative life over the past decade: an ever-present foundation in soul music, more driving dance material, and a recent turn towards rootsier, guitar-led songwriting.

The set unfolds as a live journey through that evolution, shifting from raw, stripped-back performances to richly layered, tech-driven arrangements, with Pete using samplers and synths to recreate and reimagine his studio sound on stage. Intimate, expansive and emotionally charged, it’s a show that moves seamlessly between reflection and release.

About: Pete Josef

Pete has continued to evolve as an artist, from the success of his 2016 sophomore album Colour to his recent double EP, Lifeline / Defence. The blue-eyed soul singer from Bristol has come to be a well-respected multi-instrumentalist and producer over the years merging jazz, soul, pop, and electronic music and collaborating with Manu Delago, Rag’n’Bone Man and Roni Size among others.

Seat Allocations

Each ticket holder will be allocated a seat, so please book groups under one booking so that you can be seated together.

Refunds

All sales are non-refundable. If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honoured for the next event date. If you cannot attend the event, you may transfer your purchase to another person. If the event is cancelled, all purchases will be refunded in full.

Getting Here & Parking Info

We have 30 free parking spaces, including two spaces at the front of the building for Blue Badge holders. Extra on-street parking is available after 6 pm and on Sundays.

Trains run regularly to Maidenhead from Reading and London Paddington. We are a five-minute taxi ride/twenty-minute walk from the station.
