Young Musicians - Showcase Concert

Here at Dawkes, we provide numerous performance opportunities throughout the year for adults and children alike. For younger players it offers them the chance to perform under the bright lights in front of an appreciative audience. They allow students to gain performance experience, build confidence, and share their music in a supportive environment.

These 'Showcase Concerts' are held on the Dawkes Live Stage once per term, on a Sunday afternoon. Young musicians are nominated by their teachers to perform solo or with a small ensemble in an intimate setting. 

This is a 'Pay What You Can' event, all payments are donations to help continue this opportunity for young performers to experience our stage and an appreciative audience. 

Call for Performers! 

This is a wonderful opportunity for students to gain performance experience, build confidence, and share their music in a supportive environment. We welcome all musical styles - classical, jazz, pop, and beyond.

We're looking for young musicians aged 8–18 who are confident, well-prepared, and excited to perform at a high standard. Solos, small ensembles, and duos are all welcome.
