SOLDIERS OF SONG FILM SCREENING & MEETING WITH DIRECTOR RYAN SMITH

Soldiers of Song is a moving documentary that follows Ukrainian musicians—from metal performers to opera singers—as they transform their musical talent into a lifeline for their country. Beginning on the first day of the full-scale invasion, the film documents how artists like Slava Vakarchuk (Okean Elzy), Andriy Khlyvnyuk (Boombox), and Svitlana Tarabarava use their voices and instruments to support both frontline defenders and the people enduring war at home.

Through raw frontline footage, intimate interviews, and powerful performances, Soldiers of Song shows how music uplifts, funds humanitarian and military efforts, and becomes a cultural force that unites and protects.
