A live radio broadcast. Three mysterious plays. One Halloween night. As tensions rise inside WRIP Radio’s smoke-filled studio, the Shadowlight Radio Guild discovers that some stories are better left untold and some broadcasts should never go on air.

London Performances: Two Nights Only at The Libra Theatre

Doors: 7:00 PM

Performance Start Time: 7:30 PM

Approximate Running Time: 1.5 hours

Dead Air takes audiences deep into the smoke-filled studio of WRIP Radio, New York, on Halloween night in the 1930s.

The Shadowlight Radio Guild is preparing a special live broadcast: three mysterious new plays selected by the station’s eccentric owner. But as the cast gathers, something feels off. The scripts are unnervingly strange. The owner’s motives are murky. And rumours of bizarre incidents plague the station’s recent history.

Backstage, rivalries flare between veteran actors and ambitious newcomers, each vying for control of the night’s performance. But the tension on the studio floor is nothing compared to the creeping dread behind the microphones. With each story performed, the line between fiction and reality begins to dissolve, leading to a shocking revelation.

Blending the claustrophobic drama of a live radio performance with the slow-burn unease of supernatural horror, Dead Air crackles with period atmosphere, gallows humour, and a growing sense of inevitable doom. The airwaves are no longer a means of entertainment. They’re a weapon. And with the clock ticking toward midnight, the Shadowlight Radio Guild must decide: stop the show… or face the consequences of letting it continue.
