A Workshop on Networking & Community Building for Death Doulas, and other deathcaring professionals 

This interactive workshop is designed to help death doulas, or other deathcaring professionals to expand their reach, build authentic connections, and create strong, supportive community networks. 

Participants will learn effective networking strategies, how to collaborate with key stakeholders, and ways to establish themselves as trusted resources in their local areas. 

What you will learn:

• Understand the importance of networking for death doulas 
• Learn practical strategies to build relationships with individuals and organizations 
• Explore ways to educate and engage the community about end-of-life support 
• Create a personalized networking action plan 

This workshop will include instruction, interactive exercises, and group discussions to provide a full learning opportunity, and requires your full engagement with both audio and video.

ABOUT YOUR PRESENTERS:

As Co-Founders of the Death & Dying Network International, Jo-Anne Haun and Karen Hendrickson bring extensive knowledge and experience to the deathcaring space. They have supported individuals and families facing terminal illness while building and fostering both local and global communities. Through their work, they have cultivated strong, collaborative relationships with a diverse range of deathcaring professionals and community organizations.

Jo-Anne and Karen have dedicated their time to numerous organizations, including Dying with Dignity Canada, MAiD Family Support Society, Bridge C-14, Threshold Choir, their local hospices, and many others.

Passionate about transforming how humanity approaches the end of life, they strive to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to live fully and meaningfully until the very end.
