Soul Motion: Next Steps

We welcome back Vincent for his second year as he teaches this workshop towards a mindful, somatic, dancing practice.

A 3 day workshop, 10.30am -3.30pm daily. Sat 21st June - Monday 23rd June.

Here is what we will do:
We will cultivate mindfulness practices that use breath, imagination, concentration, and a relaxed ground to gain access to a moving intrinsic intelligence.
We will dance in ways that honour both the inside volume of a body and the outside dynamics of a room, including its sounds, spaces, forms, and elements.

Here is what you will learn:
Improvisational dancing techniques to widen your dancing vocabulary and learn again the value of deep listening in creating with others.
Views about the anatomical body moving in space maps of a dance room.

Here is what you will go home with:
Practices to enable your continuing education of mind and body partnering to enhance your well being.
Ways to reduce mental stressors and physical strains that often accompany you throughout the day.

This event is an invitation to all. No prior experience is necessary.

PLEASE NOTE

Due to Vincent’s style of working, there will be no lunch break as such but short snack and comfort breaks during the sessions. Bring snacks.

REFUNDS

All Refunds (if applicable) are subject to an admin fee of £75 up to 31/5/24.

If you are unable to attend after purchasing, it’s acceptable to sell your ticket on at any time, providing the new purchaser agrees to the terms and conditions of booking and attending. Refunds directly from Adam Griffin (producer) will only be given up to 31/5/24 and incur a £75 admin fee. After 31/5/24, there will be no refunds and if unable to attend, it will be the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to sell on to a new participant.
