Explore the wonderfully evocative method of drypoint etching with experienced tutor Helen Edwards. Helen will start you with some sketching exercises before introducing an approach to drawing flowers. You will then explore the beautiful garden and create more sketches ready for etching and printing in the afternoon. As well as learning how to create interesting compositions from your original drawings, you will be taught how to develop tone with the inking up process and add colour using the chine colle technique.

All materials and tools are provided to enable you to develop your own prints along with some inspiring resources, just bring your own lunch. Whatever your prior experience, you will be well supported in the friendly small group setting.
