We are delighted to introduce spoon carving to Hunsdon House this season. In this morning workshop you will be guided by wood carving expert Eleanor Morgan in creating your own customised wooden spoon from local wood. Starting with a wooden blank, you will use just two different knives to carve a beautiful spoon of your very own to take home proudly. 

All materials and tools are provided. The workshop is designed for beginners, but others are more than welcome. Since we will be using sharp knives, this is suitable for over 18s only.

Ellie is an experienced workshop leader and Yeoman of the Worshipful Company of Basketmakers, a member of the Basketry Association and also skilled in spoon-carving.
