We are delighted to welcome back to Hunsdon House the very talented Leicester artist and educator Jo Shearer. The method that we will focus on this time is the reduction method, where you develop your printed image in a number of stages, cutting away more of the lino each time to build up different colour layers. This is highly challenging because it requires forward planning!

All materials and tools are provided to enable you to develop your own prints along with some inspiring resources, just bring your own lunch. The workshop is designed for those with some basic grounding in linoprinting, but beginners are also more than welcome and will be well supported in the friendly small group setting.

Deepwell Arts is a new arts and crafts venture led by Frances Deepwell who believes in the power of the creative arts in improving wellbeing and social connection. Her first venue is the delightful arts-and-crafts building at Hunsdon House Garden School in Headington, Oxford which she has known all her life from when her mother ran the nursery school there.
