Improving your Digital Photography

Confused by all the options on your smartphone camera app? This beginners’ digital photography workshop aims to take the mystery out of shooting pictures digitally and will help you to understand and control the technology at your fingertips.

Working on improving your understanding of exposure, focus, composition, resolution and lighting, you’ll learn simple techniques to improve your images and get to grips with your own camera or phone.

This workshop will combine classroom instruction with time to practice your skills and review the results with your tutor. The aim is to help you build the confidence and skills you need to take better photographs every time you pick up your smartphone.

Etain O’Carroll is a photographer with many years experience teaching digital skills in community settings.
