Make your own print blocks

In this exploratory session, you will design and cut your own printing block out of soft lino. You will be provided with inspiration and the necessary tools and equipment to shape a bold pattern in thick soft lino. This can then be used to create a range of patterns on paper using colourful inks, including repetition and overlapping designs. 

With guidance from Frances, you will be supported to complete a successful project, no matter if you are a complete beginner or have enjoyed printmaking before. Because of the sharp tools being used, this session is ideally suitable for adults. Older, accompanied children can attend with parent supervision.
