Jewellery from polymer clay

Fri 21 Aug 2026 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Hunsdon House School, OX3 9BJ

Polymer clay is a flexible and versatile material for making colourful jewellery and objects like keyrings, bookmarks or small figures. In this workshop we will explore a range of techniques to make simple but effective patterns and introduce how to assemble canes and create retro style designs.

Decide on your colours, patterns and textures for the clay then create your own masterpieces. For simpler designs, we will have time to 'cure' or bake these during the tea break and you will then have a chance to complete them with jewellery findings. However you may choose instead to take your items home with you to bake so that you will have more time in the workshop to refine your pieces, particularly if you are making a cane of polymer clay, which takes longer.

All materials and tools are provided to enable you to develop your own pieces along with some inspiring resources.
