Tuesday Evening Pottery

Come and spend an evening  with clay in the company of adults, developing and practising simple techniques in hand-building. Each stand-alone session should result in a finished piece ready for firing and/or glazing, so it is ideal for those who want to learn the basics of making coil, slab and pinch pots, as well as using clay to build simple sculptural forms. A follow-up glazing session can be booked once the biscuit-fired piece is ready.

This is a stand-alone booking for one evening of pottery-making. You can sign up to a series of six sessions at a reduced price, which are bookable separately, or directly with Frances through emailing her at fdeepwell@outlook.com. 

Beginners and more experienced potters are equally welcome.  The studio offers a selection of clay bodies and decorative materials and glazes. Your work will fired off-site and returned a few weeks' later. All materials and firing costs are generally included. Larger or complex pieces may incur an additional charge.
