Willow Basket-Making: Asymmetric Basket

We are pleased to bring willow-making to Headington and invite you to join basket-maker and tutor Eleanor Morgan in weaving your very own willow basket.

All materials and tools are provided to enable you to make an asymmetric basket, just bring your own lunch. The workshop is designed for beginners, but others are more than welcome. You will be taught traditional basket-making techniques and supported to complete your own basket by the end of the day.

Ellie is an experienced workshop leader who creates a range of baskets using Somerset grown willow. She is a Yeoman of the Worshipful Company of Basketmakers, a member of the Basketry Association and also skilled in spoon-carving.
