There is lots to see in Amersham Museum which charts the town's history over much of the last millennium - the older part of the museum dates from the 1480s and is probably the oldest domestic building in the town. The museum's current exhibition is titled 'Rooted in the Land' and explores the links between town and country, including farming, markets, hunting and local trades.
