Night at the Assembly Rooms

Join members, volunteers and carers at Dementia-friendly Alton for our second production performed in partnership with Alton Operatic and Dramatic Society.  Night at the Assembly Rooms captures the heartwarming community that is part of the history of this iconic local venue.  When charcters from the past emerge during the night to walk the corridors together anything is possible - even a demonstration of best practice in relation to support and comfort for individuals coping with a range of mental health issues. Please join us for this thought-provoking production.  As unlikely characters converse together on the stage, we are reminded to dispel thoughts of prejudice and assumption in preference for individuality and a person-centred approach to communication.   Please join us to share the delight in our own unique performance. Its free to attend. Bar / Cafe will be open.  With opportunity to donate to a retiring collection.
