Cambridge Advanced Ultrasound Guided Regional Anaesthesia and EDRA Preparation Course

Sun 5 Jul 2026 10:00 AM - Wed 8 Jul 2026 5:00 PM Department of Anatomy, University of Cambridge, Cambridge, CB2 3DY

The Cambridge Advanced Ultrasound Guided Regional Anaesthesia and EDRA Preparation Course is an intensive three-day programme delivered by anaesthetists for anaesthetists at the Anatomy Department in Cambridge.

This course has a hybrid format, where the first day (5th July) is online, providing delegates with high-quality online lectures covering upper and lower limb, chest wall, abdominal wall, and neuraxial blocks.

The second and third day (7-8th July) are in-person at the Anatomy Department. Delegates benefit from expert anatomy teaching using prosections, live ultrasound scanning on volunteers, needling practice on phantoms, and nerve stimulator techniques.

The final day also offers structured EDRA mock examinations, including MCQs, vivas, and live scanning, with detailed faculty feedback to support exam success.
