Air Arts Workshop: Woodland Walk & Weaving with Jane Bevan *OPEN TO JUCD STAFF WITHIN THE NHS

This workshop is open to all staff employed by UHDB and staff from associate organisations

Join artist Jane Bevan for a creative woodland workshop set in Badger’s Wood on the QHB site. You’ll take part in a gentle group walk, gathering natural materials along the way, before learning how to use your findings to weave a beautiful, nature-inspired artwork to take home.

General workshop information for all sessions: No art experience required, and all materials are included.

This event has been created for UHDB employees and staff from associate organisations as part of Air Arts’ ongoing commitment to supporting the wellbeing of UHDB staff.

Designed specifically for staff working across the five sites of the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust, the workshops offers a space to pause, reflect and reconnect through creativity and community.

Each workshop is funded by Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity from donations and fundraising received from supporters.

Air Arts, the charity's arts programme, has curated this event in close collaboration with staff, ensuring it responds directly to the needs and experiences of those who care for others every day.

A non-refundable* charge and booking fee is payable by each participant and helps to cover some of the costs of materials. This fee is a small percentage of what the cost, per person, for the workshop would be if independently booked. Additional donations are welcome but not expected.
