Autumn batik silk scarf painting full day workshop with Artist Lia Fox- Griffiths *OPEN TO JUCD STAFF WITHIN THE NHS

This workshop is open to all staff employed by UHDB and staff from associate organisations

Join Silk artist Lia Fox-Griffiths in this one day workshop and learn the skills of batik design and painting to create your own decorative pure silk scarf. No experience needed, all materials included.

Dates & Times: Saturday 5th September, 9:30am - 4:30pm.  The cost for this is £20 per session plus a booking fee of £1.25.

General workshop information for all sessions: No art experience required, and all materials are included.

This event has been created for UHDB employees and staff from associate organisations as part of Air Arts’ ongoing commitment to supporting the wellbeing of UHDB staff.

Designed specifically for staff working across the five sites of the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust, the workshops offers a space to pause, reflect and reconnect through creativity and community.

Each workshop is funded by Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity from donations and fundraising received from supporters.

Air Arts, the charity's arts programme, has curated this event in close collaboration with staff, ensuring it responds directly to the needs and experiences of those who care for others every day.

A non-refundable* charge and booking fee is payable by each participant and helps to cover some of the costs of materials. This fee is a small percentage of what the cost, per person, for the workshop would be if independently booked. Additional donations are welcome but not expected.
