We know that stronger and healthier communities start with better quality homes. Too many residents continue to live in cold, damp, and inefficient social housing that impacts negatively on their health and wellbeing. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to a safe, healthy home that enhances their quality of life.

Achieving this requires us to address the dual challenges of building new high-quality homes and cost-effectively retrofitting existing housing stock, while ensuring these properties remain truly affordable for tenants to run.

This next HHBAPPG session will bring together parliamentarians, industry leaders, and policy experts to examine practical solutions for the social housing sector. We will discuss how we can affordably construct new healthy social housing, explore cost-effective strategies to eliminate cold and damp through retrofitting, and share examples of good practice from across the country.
