Orchard Farm Harvest Mouse survey

Join us on this first survey of the 2025/26 season. Last year we found fourteen nests here, so we're itching to see if we can find even more this time.

No experience is necessary, just bring a pair of gardening gloves and suitable footwear/outdoor clothes for walking across fields. Harvest mouse nests are made out of woven grass and are found above ground level. We'll show you what you are looking for and how to search. Even if we find just one nest it will be exciting as they are such an iconic species.

Booking is essential as there are a few specific details that need to be shared via email, but we're really looking forward to it!
