Wild About Devon Forum: South Molton Community Visit

For our summer event, Wild About Devon are heading to South Molton. Hosted by the team at North Devon Biosphere, the day will offer an opportunity to see community nature engagement in action and to network with others who are working professionally to support community action around wildlife or who voluntarily lead this work in their community.

The day will include a visit to the community garden, a walk to the community woodland, talks about the work taking place in and around South Molton and plenty of time for conversation. The community offers great examples of joined-up action for nature, including connecting group ECOLINKS, a Biosphere community animator, and a town council who were runners up in the recent Wild About Devon Awards.

We will be kicking off the day at 10am sharp, and finishing up around 4pm. Detailed programme to follow. Please bring a packed lunch for our networking time - teas and coffees will be provided. The day will include some walking and outdoor visits so please dress appropriately. We aim to make the event as accessible as possible so please let us know your accessibility requirements during booking.
