Devotion presents Always and Forever, a five week writing workshop dedicated to sustainable and nourishing writing practices for real life. Each week, we practice techniques and tools designed to help you face your writing practice with love, expansiveness, pleasure and devotion.

Over five weeks, we will harness the optimism (and reality) of the back-to-school season to come to the page as we are, always and forever. Learn the skills needed to return to your writing everyday and beyond.

Always and Forever is the sister workshop to Absolute Beginners and picks up where that workshop leaves off. Always and Forever can be taken as a standalone workshop or in combination. Previous attendance at any other Devotion workshop isn’t necessary.

Topics explored will include:

• How (and why) we continue to write

• Building writing routines compatible with real life

• Returning and remembering

• Self-doubt and big feelings

• Working through blocks

• Self-compassion, love and devotion as creative tools

• Finding our voice(s)

Live workshops are recorded and available for attendees – if you're unable to make every workshop you are welcome to watch back in your own time (recordings remain available for six months). The materials discussed in the workshops are collated for easy access on Padlet. There is no preparation required for any Devotion workshop. No homework, no obligation to share written work, and no prior experience necessary.
