The Overcoming Diabetes Inequalities event is an opportunity for healthcare professionals, policymakers, researchers, and NHS commissioners to meet with one another, take stock of the activities happening around the UK, upskill, and work together to improve diabetes and related disease outcomes for people of Black, Black African, and Black Caribbean heritage in the UK.

The Overcoming Diabetes Inequalities event is organised by Diabetes Africa, in partnership with Diabetes UK and King's Health Partners. The event has been sponsored by Eli Lilly and Company and Medtronic, who have had no input into the topics discussed or the selection of speakers.

You will be entitled to a refund if you can no longer attend and inform us before 22.08.2023. After this date, no refund will be allowed. However, your colleague will be welcome to use your ticket and attend, just email us and let us know. If the event is cancelled you will be entitled to a full refund. 

In order to reduce the processing burden on the organisers, we regret to inform you that we are unable to offer the option of 'collect payments' from attendees by cheque or invoice.
