Impro-Apero Workshop

Sat 18 Nov 2023 14:45 - 17:00 BAC, 2663

We’re collaborating with award-winning cocktail bar, BAC to bring you an Improv workshop with aperitifs!

The BAC team will greet you at 2.45pm with a Welcome Drink (crémant, wine, beer or soft). The bar is ours for the whole afternoon as Melissa takes you through an Improv workshop full of fun, games and creativity. We hope you’ll have worked up a thirst by 5pm, because that’s when Betti and his team will prepare your cocktail (with or without alcohol) as refreshment. Doors open to the public after the workshop winds down, so we can enjoy our drink while soaking up the atmosphere and the Luxembourg inspired creations of the BAC gang. Snacks can also be ordered after 5pm to help you complete your evening at BAC.

In this joyful & creative workshop, we will explore the principles of improv: listening, "yes and...", working as a team, and embracing & celebrating failure & mistakes all while having plenty of laughs. The workshop is suitable for all improvisers and cocktail enjoyers, whether you're an absolute beginner or experienced. The workshop will focus on improv games, short-form and long-form that allow you to try out improv in a safe and supportive team environment.

Price includes 2 hour workshop, welcome drink and cocktail. Get €5 off with the discount code: "digdeepbac"

Location: BAC, 7 Rue Vauban, 2663 Pafendall Luxembourg (2 minutes walk from the Panoramic Pafendall Elevator!)

What the hell is improv? Improv is based upon the principle of ‘yes and’ meaning we accept what has been offered to us and build upon it. We make scenes on the spot based on a prompt, and see where the muse takes us. Teamwork, active listening, commitment, accepting mistakes and celebrating failure are all key to Improv and all of these skills can have positive effects outside the workshops in our personal and professional lives. Melissa strives to create a warm, supportive and safe environment where there is no pressure to be clever or funny; where you can just be yourself and most of all have tonnes of fun! Have some questions? Don't hesitate to get in touch.
