SARAH YEO live at THE PHYLLIS MAUD

UK solo artist Sarah Yeo is back with her new Album entitled “The Circles Of The Grain” and will be performing at The Phyllis Maud in September as part of her UK tour!

This record is the sixth release for this stalwart performer on the British music scene, with her 2024 album “the Wisdom Of The Wind” receiving high acclaim from audiences and press alike. “A gloriously tuneful, thought provoking gem of an album” **** RnR magazine. This 13 track album has a more stripped down sound from the last, and Sarah's “multi-faceted” songwriting and subtle guitar playing are the perfect vehicle for Sarah's incredible "Honeyed vocal” to shine.

The album is once again produced by George Arnold at Rapunzel Studios and their collective vision of ‘Atmospheric acoustic’ has very much delivered to spine tingling effect. The title was track inspired by watching her cousin carving wood out in New York last year, and Sarah realised that woodworking is very much like songwriting, “you just keep chipping away until the song is formed”.

The rest of the tracks are all in some way connected to the theme of the circle of life, with each track drenched in emotion and inspired by both personal experiences and thoughts and the lives of others around her.

Sarah's career so far has taken her to many amazing venues in the UK and USA including the Birmingham Symphony Hall. Blackpool Winter Gardens, and she's recently shared stages with the likes of Roswell, Sam Kelly, Kezia Gill, The Wandering Hearts & Ward Thomas, and performed a pre show for the UK 2023 Bonnie Raitt tour.

Her music has led her to recently being placed as a finalist in the International and UK songwriting competitions, which is judged by major worldwide artists, and over the years gained many local and national radio plays and interviews. Sarah's delivery in a live setting must be heard, possessing a voice as “smooth as chocolate” that leaves audiences spellbound.

On the ‘Circles’ tour you will hear these new tracks alongside some of Sarah's existing catalogue of beautiful music.
