Dear Friend
Don't Miss 40 years of Disability Action. 40 reasons to employ Disabled People.
9.30am Wednesday 17 February 2027 Hilton Hotel Belfast
Don't Miss 40 Reasons Why, our inaugural employer conference taking place in Belfast on 17 February 2027. Marking 40 years of Disability Action, 40 Reasons Why will make a powerful case for disabled talent and, more importantly, explore how employers can turn inclusion into practical action.
Why employ Disabled People? What talent are employers missing? What gets in the way? And what changes when disability inclusion becomes part of how an organisation recruits, retains and develops its people?
Hosted by Susan Hayes Culleton, The Positive Economist, the conference will bring together an outstanding mix of business, government, research and lived experience. Speakers and contributors include the Minister for the Economy, Geraldine McGahey, Chief Commissioner of the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland, Sir Charlie Mayfield and Professor Kristel Miller, alongside employers including the PSNI, Allstate and Henderson Group
The programme will tackle the disability employment gap and the barriers that can prevent employers from accessing talent. Be in the room to shape the conversation.
