Are you committed to accessibility and inclusion for disabled people?

Disability Equality Scotland is looking for new members to join the Aberdeenshire South Access Panel, to promote inclusive design and accessibility in the area.

In this meeting, we hope to attract new members and discuss a plan for the year ahead. We will provide a more in-depth overview of the typical activities of an Access Panel including those active in Aberdeenshire, as well as discuss what different roles in a Panel might look like. This meeting is an exciting opportunity to get involved in the work of an Access Panel.

The Aberdeenshire South Access Panel operates along the coast from Portlethen to St Cyrus, as well as in Laurencekirk, Stonehaven, Banchory, Aboyne, Braemar, Ballater and Deeside.

The event will taking place via Zoom, at 1:30pm on Wednesday 27 April 2022.

Please fill out this registration form if you want to come along, and we will be in touch with further information. If you are unable to join this event but would like to get involved with the Access Panel, please contact alistair@disabilityequality.scot.

Please state in your registration form if you require live captioning or British Sign Language (BSL) support so we are able to book this for you. For information on Zoom's accessibility features, as well as guidance on how to interact using Zoom Meetings, please visit our website on www.disabilityequality.scot/events/accessibility.

If you have any questions about this event, please contact alistair@disabilityequality.scot.

We look forward to welcoming you on the day!
