We are so excited to invite you to participate in LabGBTQ+ 2024, a creative lab designed to foster community through the performing arts. This edition of the lab will take place simultaneously in San Diego and Tijuana, and will culminate into a improvisational jam performance for attendees on both sides of the border on Friday, June 14 at CEART Tijuana. The lab in the US will be led by Gilberto Corrales.
This is more than just a lab; it is a celebration of diversity and authenticity through art! Participants will have the chance to delve into their personal queries and unique experiences, using dance and performance as mediums of expression. Let’s create art with our authentic stories! More about Incendio Producciones: https://www.incendioproducciones.com/eventos
Participation is FREE. It is required that participants must commit to all days of lab, as well as the final performance. On Friday, June 14, we will either have a bus or caravan, so a free ride is included if that is desired! Participants must be able to travel to Tijuana, Mexico for the performance on Friday. No previous experience with dance or performance art necessary! Everyone is invited regardless of identity. Come play :-)
