3rd FRIDAY of the month

Rhythm of the Heartbeat Class Description
During our practice, we will center the movement that keeps us alive, our breath and our heartbeat. Allow for the sound, vibration, and beat of my medicine drum to connect to the beat of your heart. I will facilitate breathwork, guided movement that can be done sitting, laying, or standing. I will invite people to move freely and intuitively towards the end of class. This class doesn't require any previous experience or specific abilities. Everything I guide will be offered as invitations and the ultimate encouragement is for participants to sense for guidance from their bodies. I will also invite people to connect to their ancestry, as many cultures have connected to the medicine of the drum for hundreds of years. This is a space to honor emotions like grief and rage due to all the colonial violence in the world. It is also a space to dream, be in the present moment, and celebrate that we are still alive.
