John Arnold: Make Time Workshop (All)

It’s time to build your own clock, join us at Discovering42 on 1 November for a free clock-making workshop celebrating John Arnold, the pioneering clockmaker born in Bodmin in 1736.
John Arnold became one of Britain’s most important precision watchmakers, developing highly accurate marine timekeepers that helped sailors calculate their position at sea.
Whether you’re feeling at sea or just fancy getting creative, come along to design and decorate your own working clock to take home. There will also be a few experiments exploring the fascinating science of time.

Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.
Supported by Experience Bodmin, helping to celebrate Bodmin’s remarkable scientific heritage creatively.
