An Early Morning View: Looks Delicious! Exploring Japan’s food replica culture
Need help?
As part of Discover South Kensington’s programme of exclusive events for colleagues, Discover South Kensington and Japan House London would like to invite you to join us for a morning view of their exhibition Looks Delicious! Exploring Japan’s food replica culture on Wednesday 22nd January 2025. Tea and coffees will be provided.
Take a mouth-watering journey through the uniquely Japanese phenomenon of shokuhin sanpuru – the unexpectedly realistic food replicas displayed in front of restaurants across Japan. Offering a rare opportunity outside Japan to see these skilfully-created models up close, this vibrant exhibition explores the history, materials, processes and future potential of the craft.
This event is part of a programme of exclusive events hosted by the cultural and educational venues in South Kensington. The events are free but numbers for this event are limited, so space will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. However, please do share this invitation with your colleagues. You will need to bring your staff pass or work ID with you.
If you cannot join us on this occasion or if tickets have sold out and want to hear about future exclusive events for colleagues, please email Sarah Berresford at sarahb@exhibitionroad.com or sign up for our fortnightly newsletter here.
