Somer Valley Skills Pathway- Supported Internship

This programme is an excellent way to prepare you for the world of work. Working with lots of ,local businesses to provide a variety of different opportunities. Working from a base classroom at the HOPE Centre, you study employability skills, how to identify your strengths and areas to develop, and prepare for work rotations based in different departments. In partnership with Discovery Supported Employment and the SS&L, we will support you in and out of work to prepare for sustainable paid employment.

You will undertake induction training and develop skills within the desired sector. During your studies, you will also continue to work to improve your maths and English skills.

The programme is open to young people with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
