Restorative Circle Training

The training will take place from 8:30-5:00 each day.

This three day experiential introductory training will prepare participants to be able to facilitate “Circles” within their communities, in schools, and in juvenile settings. Attendees will learn and practice the fundamental elements of circle keeping, such as establishing shared values, the use of ritual and a talking object, relationship and trust building, and creating a safe space. The circle process is designed to encourage mutual understanding in a wide variety of settings.

This training will be held in person at the DRC at the DRC offices located at 9321 Bay Shore Drive in Silverdale, WA.

The DRC reserves the right to change the format of this training to Zoom at any time for health or safety reasons. We require that all instructors, staff, and attendees follow common sense precautions with respect to infectious disease: stay home if you are symptomatic or have known exposure to flu, RSV, or COVID within 5 days of any day of the training. The DRC will issue full refunds for any health related inability to attend the training. The DRC does have built in HVAC air filtration and we encourage all attendees to wear masks as they feel is appropriate.

ATTENDEES NEED TO ATTEND THE ENTIRE TRAINING IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A CERTICATE. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis prior to the start of the training.
