Course Synopsis: This one day posterior hands on course aims to tackle 3 main posterior complex restorations.  - Deep Marginal Elevation: Current data and recall results as well a hands on methodology - Accessory Cusp Restorations: What are the criteria for accessory cusp failure and how can we predict this? - The Direct Composite Onlay: Indications, methods and longevity of direct cuspal coverage restorations 

Aims: - To assess indications for deep martial elevation - To predict the potential failure of accessory cusps before preparation - Too utilise direct composite for cuspal coverage restorations 

Objectives: - Each delegate will perform 3 restorations using the above techniques- Techniques to employ in general practice with workflows that are predictable - Use of direct materials that perform well in high load environments and how to handle them- Adjuncts that add value to the clinical outcome

Andrew Chandrapal BDS FCGDent DPDS(Bris) MClinDent(Pros)

Andrew is in private practice in London, UK where the basis of his special interests lie in aesthetics, composite bonding, complex rehabilitation including implants and management of tooth wear.

He holds a Distinction in Fixed and Removable Masters of Clinical Dentistry as well as two further academic diplomas. He is also a Graduate of the Kois Centre based in Seattle and has been attending the Kois Centre since 2008.

Andrew also sits on Council for The Dental Defence Union and is Past-President for the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also a post-graduate tutor for Kings College London and sits on the editorial board of dental journals including Dental Update. He has been awarded Full Member status of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and is an Affiliate of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.

He has been an educator to other dentists on a national/ international level since 2009 and is Director and lead educator at IndigoDent Education which focuses on specific clinical dental training to high academic and practical standards. Andrew is also Director of Disruptive Smiles, a group that both educates and supplies the Dental Industry with market-leading products.
