The District Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons - Spain is delighted to announce the details of our District Grand Assembly Weekend 2027, which will take place on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th February 2027 at the Gran Hotel Bali, La Cala, Playa Poniente, Benidorm, Alicante, Spain.

Thanks to the tremendous support shown by Brethren and their guests in recent years, including our record-breaking 2026 District Grand Assembly, which welcomed more than 430 attendees from across the Constitution and beyond, we look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be another memorable weekend of friendship, celebration and Mark Masonry.

To make the most of the event, the District recommends arriving at the Gran Hotel Bali around midday on Friday 5th February and, where possible, remaining until at least the evening of Saturday 6th February. We also encourage everyone to book early to avoid disappointment, as places at the Festive Board are limited by the maximum number the hotel is able to accommodate each year.

The hotel has once again agreed to offer preferential accommodation rates for attendees, regardless of the length of stay. Details of these rates, together with booking instructions, are included below.

The weekend begins at 6.30pm on Friday 5th February, when our District Grand Master, R.W.Bro. Barrie Roy Mansell, warmly invites all Mark Men and their partners attending the District weekend to a Welcome Drinks Reception at the Gran Hotel Bali. This informal gathering is always a wonderful opportunity to renew old friendships, make new ones and begin the weekend in relaxed and convivial surroundings.

On Saturday 6th February, the official District Grand Assembly will be held in the Crystal Auditorium at the Gran Hotel Bali. Brethren are requested to be seated no later than 10.30am. Tea, coffee and water will be available from 9.00am in the robing area before the meeting.

Following the Assembly, the Festive Board will commence at 1:30pm in the Gran Hotel Bali. Guests will enjoy a selection of tapas including Iberian ham and cured cheese, scallops with ratatouille, yakitori chicken skewers with soy sauce, beef carpaccio with Parmesan, Idiazábal croquettes with boletus, and salmon blinis with guacamole. A refreshing lemon sorbet with cava will follow before the main course of either beef sirloin steak with sautéed asparagus and potato gratin millefeuille, or sole stuffed with prawns. The meal concludes with a three-chocolate dessert, coffee, and includes water, soft drinks, beer, and red and white wine.

Whilst the Brethren enjoy the Assembly and Festive Board, partners and friends are invited to join an enjoyable excursion and lunch. Departing from the Gran Hotel Bali in the morning and returning later in the afternoon, the day offers a relaxed opportunity to discover some of the local attractions, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and spend time in excellent company.

Further details of the excursion, together with the lunch menu options, will be shared closer to the event. As the partners' excursion has become one of the highlights of the weekend and regularly reaches full capacity, early booking is also recommended to avoid disappointment.
