Event Overview
This high-level stakeholder launch event will unveil the findings of a regional study examining the current state of Green Logistics performance among manufacturing companies across the East Midlands.
Bringing together manufacturing leaders, academic experts, policymakers, regional development bodies and business support organisations, the event will present evidence-based insights into how East Midlands manufacturers are performing across key green logistics practices. It will highlight areas of progress, regional strengths, operational capability gaps, and opportunities for targeted upskilling, investment and collaboration.
A central focus of the event is the launch of the Strategic Roadmap for Green Logistics Improvement. The roadmap is designed to translate research findings into practical guidance for organisations seeking to improve logistics efficiency, reduce environmental impact, strengthen competitiveness and support the region’s wider sustainability and productivity ambitions.
The event will also provide a platform for discussion on implementation priorities, future regional support, and collaborative actions needed to accelerate green logistics improvement across the manufacturing sector.
