The DMU CAN Skill Share Symposium is a free, on campus event aimed at those working across the volunteering and community sector, whether for charities or other non-profit organisations, who want to develop their skills in key operational areas.

Sessions on the day (1-4pm) will explore themes including approaches to fundraising, communications, impact evaluation and volunteer stewardship.

Through these sessions, delivered in partnership with sector leaders, we will offer participants the opportunity to equip themselves with the skills they need to ensure they continue to succeed in support of their service users, in an increasingly challenging but no less crucial sector.

Lunch will be provided (12-1pm), offering an opportunity to network with others working in the interests of the people of Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.
