FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions)

1. What is the difference between "beginner" level and the "intermediate/advanced" level classes?

Beginner class is structured to be more of an open level class for anyone who wants to participate and the advanced class is just a bit more of a challenge. Matts priority is to create a class environment where everyone has the best possible class experience! So if you are trying to decide which class is right for you, TAKE BOTH!

2. Are there any age restrictions or requirements?

No! Class is open to anyone and everyone who would like to participate. If the student happens to be very young, we just ask that the parent or guardian makes a decision on whether or not they are capable of keeping up and following along. Most of the classes can have upwards of 200+ students participating, so its important for any students who are very young, that they can be aware of their surroundings and the people dancing around them as not to get injured.

3. Can I pay cash at the door?

We strongly encourage anyone wanting to attend the classes to pre-register and purchase your ticket online, but if you are unable to do so we do anticipate having space at the door the day of each event. Unless we post and announce that a class is absolutely sold out, we advise that you show up early to whatever class you'd like to sign-in to and pay cash.

4. Can I bring a family member or friend to watch and observe?

Our priority is to get all the students and dancers in who want to participate in the class, and allow them to have as much space as possible. A week or so prior to the classes, if we estimate that there will be room for friends and/or family to watch, we will potentially have observer tickets go on sale at the door. If there is a special situation where the student participating requires a guardian in the room, please email tour@dncr.com.

5. What do I get when purchasing a 2-class package?

Each class pass and package is per individual student. A 2-class package will admit one student to both the beginner AND intermediate/advanced classes. Meaning, the purchase of 1, 2-class package can not be split between multiple students.

6. If I'm only taking the 2nd class, when should I arrive for sign-in?

If you are just signed into the 2nd class, just arrive 30 minutes prior to that class. No need to arrive for the first, initial sign-in/registration.

7. How do refunds work?

Tickets can only be refunded with at least 48 hours or more notice prior to your scheduled class. If we are notified any time after, we will be unable to process a refund. If you are unable to attend the classes due to circumstances beyond your control please let us know as soon as possible.
