Doikayt Album Launch

Join us to celebrate the release of our debut album for a night of music, dancing, doikayt and donuts!

In Summer 2024, seven Klezmorim got together to record an album live in one room. Doikayt's debut album brings together some of the UK’s leading Klezmer musicians, all of whom are dedicated to the celebration and continuation of Eastern-European Jewish instrumental music. HERE IT IS!

About Doikayt:
From the Yiddish דאָיִקייט meaning 'hereness'

Taking their name from the long history of diasporic Jewish politics and culture: the concept of doikayt states that “wherever we live, that’s our homeland”. Through their music, community and activism, Doikayt stand in solidarity with Collective Liberation and the struggle for peoples everywhere to live in safety and peace. Let us break bread in the spirit of liberation (with the largest challah you've ever seen)
