Join us for a morning wander through Culdaff Dunes, suitable for the wild child, young and old! We are celebrating Wild Child Day, part of National Heritage Week, by exploring the wonders of Culdaff Dunes on a guided biodiversity walk by Aengus Kennedy from Nature NorthWest. You can discover colourful wildflowers, unique dune habitats and the conservation work protecting this special area of the North Inishowen Coast SAC.
This walk is over sand dunes - suitable footwear is necessary.
Suitable for Children over 8 - All children should be accompanied by an adult. Please meet at Car Park near play area.
This event is part of a funded project, 'Restoring and Celebrating Culdaff Dunes' that aims to help protect, restore and celebrate the dune habitats at Culdaff through scrub management, sand dune fencing and community engagement. It is coordinated by Donegal County Council in partnership with Culdaff Community Development Association, part funded by NPWS through the Local Biodiversity Action Fund.
