Don't Waste Buildings Case Study Tour - YY Building, Canary Wharf

YY London is one of the most recognisable buildings in London. One of the first generation of buildings on the Canary Wharf estate completing in 1991, it was renowned for the ticker around its façade that displayed stock prices. It became a familiar landmark to many as broadcast news reporters frequently delivered their business updates with the building in the background.

Delivered on behalf of Quadrant and Oaktree Capital Management, YY London is a comprehensive refurbishment project that transforms 30 South Colonnade -  while preserving the original structure and its embodied carbon emissions.

The tour will be led by Aqeel Sourjah, Associate Partner at Quadrant with Adam Wood - Associate Director at BGY, Rachael Owens - Head of Sustainability at BGY and Alex Buck - Sustainability Specialist at BGY.
