Workshop 5 : Neurodivergent Couples Foundations - Relaxation and Co‑Regulating

In this group you can expect:

‍A six‑session course for couples who want to understand each other more deeply, communicate more effectively, and build a relationship that feels safe, connected, and sustainable.

This course is designed specifically for neurodivergent couples—whether one or both partners are autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, or otherwise neurodivergent. Each session blends education, practical tools, and guided reflection to help partners understand their differences, reduce conflict, and strengthen emotional connection in ways that honor each person’s neurotype.

Through a neuro-affirming lens, Bev Hutchinson, a Registered Psychotherapist (RP, CSP-ADHD) and Gottman Level 2 trained therapist, guides the attendees through some of the foundational skills of being in a healthy relationship. The workshop sessions will focus on subjects including listening, communication, how to repair and how different neurotypes impact the relationship. The sessions will be a blend of presentations and group facilitations. We hope you can join us! 

Workshop Five: Relaxation and Co‑Regulating

Partners explore tools for calming the nervous system—individually and together. This includes sensory‑based regulation, predictable routines, grounding techniques, and ways to support each other during overwhelm or shutdown. The focus is on creating a relationship environment where both partners feel safe and soothed.

• $60 per session; per individual
