CREATE - Creative Flow Workshop

Stop telling yourself, “It’s too late.”

Join us for a unique experience designed to connect you with your inner artist and free you from creative blocks. Art and creativity are vulnerable acts, especially when you're aiming for authenticity. In this workshop, you'll be guided through exercises that will help you release creative fear, build confidence, and open new avenues of expression.

We'll begin with a short breathwork session led by Gabi from Draw Around Vancouver (DAV), helping you move from your logical mind into a deeper connection with your body. Next, a guided visualization will create a safe and inspiring space within, setting the stage for your creativity to flourish.

In this class, we'll also explore topics like self-criticism, the fear of creation, and how to silence the inner critic. You'll be guided through a drawing exercise that leads to a final piece—a genuine expression that reflects your true self.

Embrace the vulnerability and joy of creating from the heart. All skill levels are welcome. Just bring your curiosity, and let’s dive into the creative flow together.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Curiosity
• Water Bottle/ Snacks
• Bring your preferred drawing materials, such as sketchbooks, pencils, erasers, charcoal, or ink pens. Although we do provide guests with all of these, we have a limited amount, so it's a good idea to pack a range of supplies, allowing you to experiment with different techniques and styles. We always provide paper and drawing boards.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We only accept cancellations 48 hours before the event date. This means that if you purchase your ticket two days before the event, it will not be refundable. For refunds please reach out to us directly via email at drawaroundvancouver@gmail.com to cancel.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION

Wheelchair access is possible by going through the back entrance. Simply arrive at the front and someone from our team will guide you there.
