Join us for a unique life drawing experience at Growing Pains Tattoo Studio in Gastown! We’ll have our usual life drawing setup but in a totally different atmosphere. Sketch alongside the inspiration of the studio—and for those feeling extra bold, maybe your favorite sketch could become a tattoo!

No matter your skill level, everyone can draw—and everyone is welcome! Leave your phone behind and connect with your intuition. In each 2-hour session, you’ll embark on a creative journey of figure drawing, starting with a short embodied practice and partner games, followed by warm-up exercises and a mix of short and long poses. This experimental, semi-structured session cultivates a relaxed atmosphere, sparking creativity and helping you refine your unique style.

WHAT TO BRING?

• Bring your preferred drawing materials, such as sketchbooks, pencils, erasers, charcoal, or ink pens. Although we do provide guests with all of these, we have a limited amount, so it's a good idea to pack a range of supplies, allowing you to experiment with different techniques and styles. We always provide paper and drawing boards.
